Now working with athletes, first responders, and high performers in Arizona, Ohio, Louisiana, and Minnesota.
If you’re here, it’s likely because you’re ready for something more.
You might be carrying performance pressure, managing chronic stress, or trying to process experiences that continue to impact your focus, confidence, and overall mental health. High performers often appear composed and successful while navigating significant internal demands. Whether you are an athlete, executive, business professional, or first responder, your mental wellbeing and your story deserve attention and care.
I provide trauma informed therapy, EMDR therapy, and mental performance coaching designed to help you process unresolved experiences, reduce anxiety and stress, build emotional regulation skills, and strengthen resilience. This work supports improved focus, confidence, and consistent performance so you can operate at a high level while feeling more grounded, present, and aligned in your life.
Hi, I’m Samantha.
I’ve always believed the lessons learned through sport shape how we perform, lead, and live. My foundation began in swimming, where I developed discipline, focus, and consistency. It expanded on the softball field and basketball court, where I learned teamwork, resilience, and leadership under pressure.
As a collegiate and professional athlete, I experienced both peak performance and setbacks. Those moments taught me how to manage performance anxiety, stay mentally strong in high pressure environments, and build confidence that translates beyond sport. This lived experience directly informs my work today in mental performance coaching and sports psychology.
Stepping away from athletics and coaching challenged my identity in a new way. Like many high performers, I had to navigate an identity transition and redefine who I was outside of performance. That process led me into the field of mental health counseling and trauma informed care.
During graduate school, I experienced Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing as a client. EMDR therapy helped me process unresolved experiences, reduce stress and anxiety, and reconnect with a stronger sense of self. That transformation shaped my clinical approach and deepened my commitment to helping others heal and perform at their best.
Today, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in trauma informed therapy, EMDR therapy, and mental performance coaching for athletes, high performers, executives, and first responders. My work focuses on anxiety therapy, stress management, emotional regulation, and overcoming mental blocks such as the yips and performance slumps.
I help clients improve focus, build resilience, and develop the confidence needed to perform consistently under pressure. Whether you are navigating burnout, recovering from setbacks, or striving for peak performance, this work is designed to support both mental health and high level performance.
This is where mental health and performance meet, helping you feel grounded, clear, and fully aligned so you can perform and live at your highest level.
I understand the pressure to perform, the fear of failure, and the weight of transitions because I’ve lived them.
And I know that within every challenge lies the potential for incredible transformation. Through my practice, I use trauma-informed approaches like EMDR and mindfulness to help clients break free from what holds them back and step into their full potential.

My approach blends EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) with performance psychology and several evidence-based therapies:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): helps identify unhelpful patterns, reframe thoughts, and build practical coping strategies.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): develops emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and skills for navigating high-intensity situations.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): strengthens psychological flexibility, values-based action, and the ability to stay present under pressure.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) Training: supports nervous system regulation to improve focus, resilience, and recovery.
But my mission goes beyond the office
I’m passionate about sparking conversations abouT mental health in sports…
Showing athletes and high performers that their worth isn’t tied to their stats or accolades. It’s in their ability to rise, to grow, and to find balance in life’s most demanding seasons.
